i didn't take myself for a remix album kind of guy, but when i learned that yves loona was going to be on a remix i knew i HAD to check it out. especially seeing bell post a clip of yves' part in stars - it was SO GOOD. WTF!! and i didn't even like stars originally in the og tracklist. i have since been converted.
this is a very fun remix album, and i think i loved almost every track on the first disc except maybe 1 or 2 tracks that didn't quite hit - didn't know what i was expecting with the bladee remix, but maybe it just wasn't my thing. i tried to listen to disc 2 but it's meh. i only ever rated it as it is purely because of the first disc and nothing else. disc 1 is the only one that exists for me.
helped me get through a Sad No Good Stupid Day it was just that good the songs are STUCK in my head ugrhghhhh... changed the original "fancy that" score to 7 to from 6 just cuz the remixes made me appreciate them more. what a delicious remix album.
